Putin said that the "instant result" strategy in business is unprofitable

The crisis has shown that companies that work on a long-term strategy successfully overcome the fall of the economy, unlike those who are chasing quick profits. This was stated by President Vladimir Putin at a meeting on measures to increase investment activity, TASS reports.

According to the HEAD of state, serious organizations with strategic planning "demonstrate responsibility for the country, region, city, for specialists."

“And, on the contrary, in our country, and throughout the world, we see what serious problems companies face that, in the pursuit of momentary results, forget about long-term, long-term work,” Putin said. He noted that often the costs of overcoming the consequences of such a short-sighted strategy are many times greater than the savings.

In this regard, the president invited representatives of large businesses to discuss support measures for long-term business models. He also stressed that the existing measures to support entrepreneurship showed a good result in the crisis months of last year.
