President Vladimir Putin signed a law providing for support measures in the economic and social sphere in order to stabilize the economic situation.

The document implies measures to help Russians and businesses in the face of foreign sanctions. The measures will affect the pension sector: the government will be able to carry out additional indexation of insurance pensions, the pension coefficient and additional payments to pensions. The procedure for setting the subsistence minimum and the minimum wage (SMIC) will change.

Citizens and representatives of small and medium-sized businesses will be entitled to credit holidays if the loan agreement was concluded before March 1, 2022. With a request for a delay, they can apply to the creditor until September 30.

As part of the support for small and medium-sized businesses, until December 31, 2022, scheduled inspections of such enterprises will not be carried out. Audits for “government-accredited organizations operating in the field of information technology” will not be carried out until the end of 2024.
