Russian culture is being “cancelled” by stupid people, while Russia itself, on the contrary, promotes the best foreign works, President Vladimir Putin said at a video conference with government members and representatives of regional authorities on the completion of the reconstruction of social facilities. “Stupid people cancel our culture, but we not only do not cancel any of the best works, the best examples of the culture of other countries, but we also advance those ideas and humanistic principles that are embedded in these works. We are smart, and those who cancel our culture are not so good,” Putin said.
