
The German manufacturer of sweets Haribo has decided to stop deliveries of products to RUSSIA. it is reported by "Fontanka" with reference to the message of the company, distributed among its counterparties. Also, Kommersant writes about the suspension of deliveries with reference to the letter.
“Global leadership has decided to suspend production for the Russian market until further notice,” says the letter, signed by Haribo DIRECTOR Walter Nikolaus.
At the same time, the company emphasized that this circumstance does not mean that the company announces downtime or leaves the market forever.

They noted that the conflict in Ukraine exacerbated the economic situation in Russia and the world, which led to "a significant increase in prices for raw materials, production costs, major changes in supply chains and an increase in tariffs for the transportation of goods."
“Against the background of the current situation, Haribo, as a family business, must protect the commercial interests of the organization and, therefore, must suspend its activities for some time and determine the path along which business in Russia will go further,” the document says.
