Rosbank applications disappeared from the App Store after the imposition of US sanctions

Applications of Rosbank after the imposition of sanctions against a credit institution by the United States ceased to be available in the App Store. In particular, Rosbank Online and Rosbank Small Business disappeared from the search results. This was confirmed by the press service of the bank.

At the same time, the Rosbank lifestyle concierge service application remained available for download in the APPLE app store at the time of writing.

All three Rosbank applications are available in the GOOGLE Play store.

Rosbank said that previously installed applications on iOS and Android devices work "stably and without restrictions."

“If you already have the application, use it without restrictions, do not delete or put it to sleep. Disable the “Download unused applications” function in the smartphone settings, the press service of the credit institution noted.

Users who do not have the Rosbank Online and Rosbank Small Business applications installed were advised to use an Internet bank that can be opened through a browser.

On December 15, the US Treasury imposed sanctions against the HEAD of Interros, Vladimir Potanin, and members of his family. Interros and Rosbank were included in the SDN list, which involves blocking dollar-denominated assets and operations. The latter was purchased by Potanin from the French group Societe Generale, who left RUSSIA. The main shareholder of the bank is the Potanin Charitable Foundation with a share of 47.5%, another 45% belongs to Interros. The US Treasury issued a license to complete transactions with Rosbank until March 15, 2023.
