The new US sanctions against RUSSIA, which Washington announced on March 15, are driving relations between the two countries into an even more "dead dead end," the Russian embassy in the United States said, the message was published on the diplomatic mission's TELEGRAM channel.

“Another hostile action continues to drive Russian-American relations into an even deeper impasse. it hinders the preservation of a few channels of interaction between our countries,” the diplomats noted.

The embassy added that Russia would retaliate "as required by the principle of reciprocity."
