
Andrey Bokarev left the post of president of Transmashholding and resigned from the board of directors of the company, the company's press service said in a statement.
Changes in the leadership of Transmashholding will not affect compliance with the obligations assumed by the company, its subsidiaries and affiliates, it emphasized.
Transmashholding (TMH) is Russia's largest manufacturer of railway and urban rail transport. The company is headquartered in Moscow, and TMH also has international divisions in Switzerland, Hungary, South Africa, Egypt, Argentina, Belarus and Kazakhstan. The holding structure includes 16 production and assembly sites in RUSSIA and other countries.
The share capital of the company, according to the holding as of August 2018, was distributed between a group of Russian businessmen and the French company Alstom (it suspended work with Russia in March). Alstom had 20%. Another 79.4% of the capital was owned by companies owned by Bokarev, businessman Iskander Makhmudov, chairman of the board of directors of TMH Dmitry Komissarov and CEO Kirill Lipa. The controlling shareholders were Komissarov and Lipa.

A month earlier, against the backdrop of tougher sanctions against Russia, he and his partner Makhmudov withdrew from the board of directors and ceased to be controlling shareholders of the Ural Mining and Metallurgical Company (UMMC) and three holding structures: Management Company Kuzbassrazrezugol JSC, Vostochny Port JSC and JSC Rosterminalugol. UMMC then reported that all enterprises of the group continue to operate as usual.
