The company recalled that USC has been operating under severe sanctions pressure since 2014, becoming in this regard "a pioneer among Russian companies subjected to restrictions."

“It is difficult to surprise a corporation with something - they have probably rubbed calluses by introducing more and more new restrictions. At the same time, no matter how our Western colleagues try to hinder the development of national shipbuilding, the company's efficiency has only increased in recent years, ”the USC said.

So, if from 2012 to 2016 USC handed over 25 ships to the fleet, then over the past five years there have already been 30 of them. The situation with the commercial fleet is no worse - more than 150 ships have left USC shipyards over the past ten years, the company emphasized. In many ways, it was thanks to the sanctions that the industry restored or recreated unique production facilities that made it possible to bring import substitution to a qualitatively new level, according to USC. “As for the state defense order, all military products are 100% made from domestic components,” the corporation stressed.
