The Lebanese Daher Group, which bought the assets of the Zara retail chain in Russia from the Spanish Inditex in autumn, will present the concept and timing of opening stores in the country next week. This was reported to RIA Novosti by Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Viktor Evtukhov.
“The company will come next week and present a concept of how they will open: when, what stores, in what regions,” the deputy minister said in response to a question about the timing of the opening of new Zara stores.
Yevtukhov also stressed that the new owners still have to complete the acquisition of Zara's assets in Russia. “This will require the approval of the Government Commission. Only after that it will be possible to say that everything took place. And then — step by step [step by step (English)],” he added.
