The Ministry of Justice proposed to introduce discounts for businesses to fines for violations

The Ministry of Justice proposed to allow businesses to pay only half of the administrative fines if the money is paid promptly. The agency has developed this and other measures to support businesses in the face of sanctions

The Ministry of Justice has developed amendments to the Code of Administrative Violations, which are designed to reduce the burden on business, TASS reports, citing a bill, the text of which the agency has.

If inspection organizations have identified any violation in the work, the ministry proposes to apply minimum fines to violators, as well as allow businesses to pay only half the amount provided for by current legislation.

Such conditions will be provided for organizations that pay the fine within 20 days from the date of the decision. And if a violation is detected for the first time, the Ministry of Justice proposes to replace the fine with a warning (now such a rule is valid only for small and medium-sized businesses).

A similar measure - a 50 percent discount on the payment of fines for certain violations within 20 days - is now available for drivers when paying fines for traffic violations. There are no such conditions for business.
