The Ministry of Industry and Trade will consider adding Duracell to the list of parallel imports if the company leaves RUSSIA. This is reported by TASS and RIA Novosti, citing sources in the department.
“If Duracell is confirmed to leave the Russian market, the possibility of returning Duracell to the list of parallel imports will be considered,” the source said.
Earlier, Mash published a letter from the CEO of Duracell Russia Yuri Korotaev, which states that Duracell shareholders have decided to stop business in Russia, as well as stop deliveries of products to the country. Korotaev confirmed the authenticity of the letter to Rise.
In 2022, Duracell was already included in the list of goods for parallel import. In July of the same year, the Ministry of Industry and Trade decided to remove Duracell from the list, as the company continued to deliver to Russia.
