After the 11th package of sanctions, the Foreign Ministry accused the EU of an economic blockade

The goal of the 11th EU sanctions package is to achieve a long-term economic blockade of RUSSIA. This was stated by the Acting Permanent Representative of Russia to the European Union Kirill Logvinov, TASS reports .

“With the adoption of the 11th sanctions package, the economic war unleashed by the European Union and its member countries against Russia has reached a qualitatively new level,” he said.

According to him, if before the West wanted to “blitzkrieg” to destroy the Russian economy, now the EU is counting on a long-term blockade and is trying to draw as many states into it as possible.

The 11th EU sanctions package came into effect on 23 June. Among other bans, the package includes the possibility of expanding the ban on the EXPORT of goods to third countries through which goods subject to sanctions enter Russia. In addition, Russian-registered trailers are prohibited from transporting goods to the EU, and ships that have violated oil embargo and price ceiling rules are prohibited from entering EU ports.

In addition, the sanctions list includes seven organizations that, according to Brussels, support the Russian military-industrial complex. We are talking about organizations from CHINA , Uzbekistan, the United Arab Emirates, Syria and Armenia.
