Macron Promises Joint Sanctions with US Against Russia Over Ukraine

Europe and the United States will impose sanctions against RUSSIA if it abandons peace initiatives, French President Emmanuel Macron said after talks between the “coalition of the willing,” the Ukrainian and American sides.
"If Russia continues to refuse concrete peace talks <...>, then we will adopt additional sanctions together with the United States and give clear answers to this refusal to move forward," Macron said, TF1-info reports.
He specified that this is about coordinating actions within the framework of "primary and secondary" sanctions. The president also added that work on including the United States in providing security guarantees for Ukraine will be completed. In total, according to him, 26 countries have assumed obligations within the framework of a possible mission on the territory of the country.
