Lukashenka threatened Lithuania to export potash fertilizers through Russia Alexander Lukashenko

Belarus is ready to EXPORT potash fertilizers through Russian ports. This was stated by President ALEXANDER LUKASHENKO during the “Big Conversation with the President”, the event was broadcast by the RBC TV channel. This is how he responded to Lithuania’s threats to stop the transit of potash fertilizers through its territory

“We will deliver these volumes - we will load them in Murmansk. It's not a question. And along the Northern Sea Route, we will supply CHINA (this is our main market) and India by the shortest route ,” said the President of Belarus.

At the same time, he advised Western countries to “just think” before imposing sanctions against MINSK. According to Lukashenka, it is not worth taking on the sanctions "axes and pitchforks", given that they can have the opposite effect.

On August 4, Lithuanian Foreign Minister Gabrielius Landsbergis threatened to completely stop the export of potash fertilizers from Belarus through his country, Delfi reported. They are produced by the Belaruskali enterprise. Minsk exports fertilizers to Asia and South America through the Lithuanian port of Klaipeda.
