On May 28, the heads of RUSSIA and Belarus will discuss the situation with Russian oil companies that have fallen under sanctions, supplying raw materials to Belarusian refineries. This was stated by Belarusian President ALEXANDER LUKASHENKO, speaking in front of the country's parliament, reports the publication "Belarus Segodnya".

“We are now trying to find a way out of one or another specific situation, including those relating to enterprises that fall under sanctions. You understand that they (Russian companies.) fall under sanctions, because of us they can also get. Well, how can they sell oil to us now? The private company is afraid... On Friday we have to find a solution with Putin,” Lukashenka explained.

In April, the American leadership renewed sanctions against Belarusian enterprises with state participation. They were introduced against back in 2007-2011, but canceled in 2015 due to the participation of MINSK in the settlement of the conflict in Ukraine.
