
The British Foreign Office expanded sanctions against Russian officials, adding Deputy Prime Minister and head of the Ministry of Industry and Trade Denis Manturov, CEC chairman Ella Pamfilova, head of the Federal Penitentiary Service Arkady Gostev, heads of regions and five military commissars to the list, according to the Foreign Office website.
In total, 22 persons were included in the list, in particular:
head of Dagestan Sergey Melikov; the head of Kalmykia, Batu Khasikov; the head of Ingushetia, Mahmud-Ali Kalimatov (these three governors were sanctioned because a “significant number” of military personnel were called up from their regions, the British Foreign Office said); Governor of the Rostov region Vasily Golubev; Governor of the Omsk Region Alexander Burkov; Governor of the Murmansk region Andrey Chibis; Governor of the Belgorod Region Vyacheslav Gladkov; Governor of the Magadan Region Sergey Nosov; Governor of the Arkhangelsk region Alexander Tsybulsky; Governor of the Krasnodar Territory Veniamin Kondratiev; Dmitry Bezrukikh, head of the main department of the Federal Penitentiary Service of the Rostov Region (together with Gostev, according to London, he “collaborated” with the founder of Wagner PMC, and the region was a “recruitment center”); Ivan Prokopenko, head of the Federal Penitentiary Service for the Tula Region; chairman of the election commission of the Rostov region Andrey Burov (like Pamfilova, they participated in organizing referendums in new territories, the Foreign Office noted); military commissar of Moscow Maxim Loktev; military commissar of the Rostov region Igor Yegorov; military commissar of the Kaliningrad region Yuri Boychenko; Military Commissar of the Republic of Altai Oleg Denisenko; military commissar of the Altai Territory Marat Usmanov; head of the "Society of Central Asian Uzbeks of the Perm Territory" Jahongir Jalolov (for promoting actions to destabilize Ukraine, the document states). military commissar of the Rostov region Igor Yegorov; military commissar of the Kaliningrad region Yuri Boychenko; Military Commissar of the Republic of Altai Oleg Denisenko; military commissar of the Altai Territory Marat Usmanov; head of the "Society of Central Asian Uzbeks of the Perm Territory" Jahongir Jalolov (for promoting actions to destabilize Ukraine, the document states). military commissar of the Rostov region Igor Yegorov; military commissar of the Kaliningrad region Yuri Boychenko; Military Commissar of the Republic of Altai Oleg Denisenko; military commissar of the Altai Territory Marat Usmanov; head of the "Society of Central Asian Uzbeks of the Perm Territory" Jahongir Jalolov (for promoting actions to destabilize Ukraine, the document states).These persons are prohibited from entering the UK, their assets (if any) in the country are frozen.
Some of those who fell under the sanctions have already reacted to this. For example, Kondratiev wrote in his Telegram channel that this was “expected”. Golubev said on Telegram that "the British appreciated the contribution of the Rostov region to the success and correctness of everything that Russia is doing now."

The UK has repeatedly introduced restrictions against Russian citizens and companies this year. In total, as indicated by the country's Foreign Ministry, over 1.2 thousand individuals and more than 120 organizations were included in the list. Among them are President Vladimir Putin , Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, businessmen Pyotr Aven, Mikhail Fridman, German Khan and others; from organizations - Sberbank, VTB, Aeroflot, Rostec, United Aircraft Corporation, Uralvagonzavod, etc.
