REUTERS found outthat the EU again failed to agree on the tenth package of sanctions Politics
Details of the new EU sanctions package were previously published by BLOOMBERG, citing sources among European officials. According to the agency, the EU countries intend to impose sanctions against Alfa-Bank, Rosbank and Tinkoff Bank, as well as ban Russian citizens from holding positions in European infrastructure companies. Reuters wrote that the EU could ban more "Russian propaganda media" and exclude more Russian banks from the SWIFT interbank information transfer system.
The HEAD of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, indicated that new restrictive measures could be introduced by February 24, the anniversary of the start of the special operation in Ukraine.
