Kuleba called for more sanctions against Russia

Kyiv calls on partners to impose more sanctions against RUSSIA to stop its further aggression, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmitry Kuleba wrote on Twitter.

“Now we need to increase the pressure. To strike at the Russian economy and around [Russian President Vladimir] Putin. Painful blow. And do it now,” Kuleba said, noting that Ukraine is grateful for the “first decisive steps” taken the day before.

Earlier, the minister said that the introduction of anti-Russian sanctions in “waves” could help stop the escalation around Ukraine. He pointed out that the already imposed restrictions on Russia seem serious when viewed as a first step.

According to Kuleba, the imposed sanctions have affected the core of the financial interests of Vladimir Putin and his entourage, and ordinary citizens of Russia will not suffer from these restrictions. The diplomat believes that such an impact is necessary.
