China has imposed sanctions on 12 US companies and 10 top managers.

Chinese authorities have imposed sanctions on 12 companies and 10 top managers from the United States for selling weapons to Taiwan and in response to restrictions against Chinese enterprises for cooperating with RUSSIA, the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs reported .

According to the portalCHINA Daily, citing a ministry release, said the companies in question include defense industry companies such as Lockheed Martin, Javelin Joint Venture, General Dynamics, Intercoastal Electronics, System Studies and Simulation, as well as Iron Mountain Solutions, Applied Technology Group, and Arcient.

These companies will have their real estate and other assets in China frozen.

The Chinese Foreign Ministry explained that the restrictions were being introduced because the United States had long ignored China's position on Ukraine , "indiscriminately imposed illegal unilateral sanctions against Chinese enterprises based on so-called Russia-related factors," while simultaneously continuing to sell "weapons to the Chinese region of Taiwan."

In addition, the president and vice presidents of Northrop Grumman Corporation Katie Worden, Matthew Bromberg, Benjamin Davis, Thomas Jones, Stephen O'Brien and Roshan Roeder, as well as the vice presidents of General Dynamics Firat Gezen, Jason Aiken, Amy Gilliland and Christopher Brady, are deprived of the right to enter the PRC.
