CANADA has imposed new sanctions against nine Russians, according to the website of the country's government.

In addition, by another order, Canada included nine more citizens of Belarus in its sanctions lists. The list included the Deputy Ministers of Defense of Belarus Andrei Zhuk, Andrei Burdyko and Sergei Simonenko.
As specified on the website of the Canadian government, those who fell under the sanctions will be prohibited from making transactions with any property in Canada and receiving debt financing.
