CANADA will add 62 more Russian citizens to the sanctions list, as well as one legal entity, a company operating in the defense sector, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau said during the Crimean Platform online summit. The event is broadcast on the summit website.

“Today, we are announcing new sanctions against 62 additional individuals and one defense sector organization involved in Russia’s war in Ukraine,” Trudeau said.

According to a consolidated document published on the website of the Canadian government, Ottawa added the heads of Russian regions to the sanctions list.
