In 2023, MEAT consumption increased to an average of 98 kg per person, according to a Rosstat report on food consumption in Russian households, studied by RBC. This figure has been growing since 2000 and is catching up with the volume of vegetable consumption. In 2023, each Russian consumed about 107 kg on average.
