The international recruitment agency Kelly Services is leaving the Russian market and is looking for a buyer for its local business. FORBES reports this with reference to sources.

The press service of Kelly Services, in response to a request from Forbes, reported that the company announces the transfer of its local assets from international to Russian management. The decision was made "in connection with the prevailing circumstances and after a thorough analysis of its structure and capabilities," the company said.

At the same time, Kelly Services refused to disclose under what conditions the company will be transferred to Russian owners and with whom negotiations are underway. A Forbes source in one of the Russian recruiting companies does not exclude that everything can go "according to the already understandable scheme of selling or transferring the Russian part of the business to local management."

In addition, a Kelly Services employee told Forbes that the agency is currently negotiating with its employees in Russia in English to test language proficiency and decide who to keep in the local division and who to transfer to the global division. Kelly Services denies any such negotiations with employees.

Earlier, Detroit News, citing a statement by Kelly Services CEO Peter Quigley, reported that after the completion of the transition of the recruitment agency division to Russian owners, the Kelly brand will no longer be represented in Russia. 

Kelly Services has been operating in Russia since 1993 and employs over 400 people. it has a network of branches in Moscow, St. Petersburg and other major Russian cities. According to SPARK, last year Kelly Services earned $132 million in Russia (about 8.2 billion rubles), or 2.7% of its global revenue.
