Ex-deputy of the Rada allowed the lifting of EU sanctions against Russia

The European Union (EU) may lift part of the sanctions against RUSSIA due to Kyiv's failure to comply with the MINSK agreements. This opinion was expressed by the former deputy of the Verkhovna Rada Yevgeny Muraev on the air of the NASH TV channel.

“Europe will lift sanctions from Russia tomorrow, because Ukraine does not comply with the Minsk agreements, I assume that this can happen,” Muraev said.

He added that because of the restrictive measures against Russia, European producers of the EU are suffering losses, which “are missing tens of billions due to the fact that Russia attacked Ukraine.”

In July, the EU extended economic sectoral sanctions against Russia for another six months. This decision was made after the next assessment of the state of implementation of the Minsk agreements at the end of June. According to the EU Council, the agreements are not fully implemented by Russia. The decision to extend was taken unanimously.
