
The US Congress is working on a draft sanctions against leading Hungarian politicians who are associated with Prime Minister Viktor Orban's Fidesz party, The Guardian writes, citing sources.
According to the publication, a group of Republicans and Democrats has been developing restrictions since last year, they may affect former officials and supporters of the Hungarian government. The bill could be submitted to Congress as early as next month. Interlocutors of The Guardian suggest that he will receive wide support.
