What do Russians think about taxes?

Most of those who think taxes are excessive are in the 25-34 age group. Russians over 60 are more tolerant of taxes, with 25% estimating them as excessive. At the same time, 65% of respondents were able to name the current income tax rate, while among young people under the age of 24, only 49%. Half of Russians (51%) pay income tax through the accounting department of their enterprise, only 8% of Russians submit their declaration to the tax office on their own. 9% do not pay income tax, and 31%, according to them, do not have income subject to personal income tax.
