The Central Bank allowed residents to contribute funds to the authorized capital of companies from friendly countries. “Russian residents, while meeting a number of conditions, will be able to pay for shares, deposits and shares in the property of non-residents, as well as make a contribution in favor of foreigners under a simple partnership agreement without prior obtaining individual permissions from the Bank of Russia,” the regulator said in a statement.

In this case, the payment must be made in the currency of this state or in rubles, and the amount of the contribution should not exceed 10 million rubles. or equivalent in foreign currency. If these conditions are not met, then, as before, permission from the Central Bank is required to carry out such an operation.

Restrictions apply to unfriendly countries in Russia. So, in April, the regulator suspended transfers abroad from the accounts of non-resident individuals from unfriendly states and not working in Russia for six months. For the same period, transfers abroad of funds of individuals and legal entities - non-residents from unfriendly countries from the accounts of Russian brokers were suspended. More than 48 countries, including all EU states, are classified as "unfriendly".
