British opposition called for sanctions against Telegram

The TELEGRAM messenger is actively distributing materials of extremist content, which is why it is necessary to introduce tough sanctions against the leaders of the platform who do not fight extremism, up to criminal prosecution, said the leader of the UK Labor Party, Cyrus Starmer, speaking in the House of Commons. “Telegram is called the app of choice for extremists.
