Britain has imposed sanctions against Russian Deputy Defense Minister Pavel Fradkov and businessman Artem Chaika, according to documents on the British government website.
The DIRECTOR of the Federal Service for Technical and Export Control, Vladimir Selin, was also subject to restrictions .
Sanctions were also imposed against the Kirov-Energomash plant (a Rosatom structure) in St. Petersburg and the Rosatom Additive Technologies company.
Pavel Fradkov is the son of the former head of the Foreign Intelligence Service Mikhail Fradkov (2007–2016), former prime minister (2004–2007). Artem Chaika is the son of the presidential envoy to the North Caucasus Yuri Chaika, who was the country's prosecutor general in 2006–2020.
On February 11, London, along with Washington and Canberra, imposed sanctions on Russians Alexander Mishin and Alexander Bolshakov, who are alleged to be the administrators of the internet hosting service Zservers. They “facilitated attacks” using the LockBit ransomware. Zservers provided bulletproof hosting services, including the rental of numerous IP addresses.
