The UK has expanded the sanctions list to include God Nisanov, founder of Kievskaya Ploshchad, Iskander Makhmudov, founder of the Ural Mining and Metallurgical Company, Igor Makarov, HEAD of the Areti group of companies, and Russian Goznak.

From the banking sector, top managers of Sberbank, Gazprombank and Sovcombank fell under British sanctions.
