London has included in the sanctions lists representatives of state-owned media, including the Rossiya Segodnya agency, Sputnik and the TV-Novosti company, which, according to the British Foreign Office,owner of RT Sergey Brilev

The UK imposed sanctions against journalist and citizen of the United Kingdom Sergey Brilev, Gazprom-Media CEO Alexander Zharov and the Rossiya Segodnya state agency, the list of sanctioned persons is published on the website of the British government.

The sanctions list also includes the TV-Novosti organization, which owns the RT brand.

“The HEAD of the Foreign Ministry added 14 individuals and organizations to the sanctions list that represent Russian propaganda and state media that spread lies and deceit about [Vladimir] Putin’s illegal invasion of Ukraine,” the Foreign Ministry said in a statement published on the agency’s website.
