The majority of respondents in Georgia (64.5%) said the government's refusal to join the sanctions against Russia was right, Imedi TV company, commissioned by the Georgian company GORBI to conduct a survey, said.
The telephone survey was conducted from 10 to 16 March, 1008 people participated in it.
The decision of the authorities not to join the sanctions against Russia was supported by 64.5% of respondents, and 30.4% called this step wrong. Another 5.2% found it difficult or refused to answer the question.
When asked whether the government did the right thing by not supporting the sending of Georgian volunteers to Ukraine, 60.5% of respondents answered in the affirmative, while 31.8% did not agree with this decision. Another 7.7% did not answer the question.
