
The US and its allies are seeking a more constructive relationship with Russia, but it must honor its commitments. US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken wrote about this on Twitter.
“Together with our partners and allies, we seek a more constructive relationship with Russia, but it must fulfill its international obligations,” the Secretary of State said.

He also indicated that the United States condemns Russia's sanctions against EU officials. According to Blinken, they are "another attempt by Moscow to intimidate critics."
Earlier , Russia imposed sanctions against eight officials of the European Union. The blacklist included, among others, the President of the European Parliament, David Maria Sassoli, and the HEAD of the Berlin prosecutor's office, Jörg Raupach. They were banned from entering Russia.
