Washington and its allies will impose sanctions against RUSSIA after the start of a special military operation in the Donbass, US President Joe Biden said following a telephone conversation with his Ukrainian counterpart Vladimir Zelensky.
“Tomorrow I will have a meeting with the leaders of the G7. The United States, our allies and partners will impose tough sanctions against Russia," the White House said in a statement.
Biden noted that Zelenskiy had asked him to "call on the leaders of the world to speak out clearly against President [Russian Vladimir] Putin's blatant aggression."
