On September 11, Aydinlik discovered a website affiliated with the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry. The page posted calls to impose sanctions against the Turkish board of the Russian subsidiary of Credit Europe Bank, as well as Ziraat Bank, JSC İş Bankası, Denizbank, FIBA Holding, the Anadolu Efes brewing group and the industry and business association TÜSİAD.
The authors of the list demanded that sanctions be imposed on businessmen and bank executives if they do not publicly condemn the Kremlin's policies, continue to operate and pay taxes in Russia, and do not transfer a significant part of their personal wealth to the Ukraine Reconstruction Fund.
