Apple removed the applications of the sanctioned Promsvyazbank from its store

Promsvyazbank applications have been removed from the Apple App Store, RBC correspondent noted. On February 23, the United States imposed blocking sanctions against Promsvyazbank due to Russia's recognition of the independence of the DPR and LPR.

Promsvyazbank had three applications in the App Store - mobile banking, PSB Investments and PSB Business (for corporate clients). They disappeared from the store on February 24. “Apple has removed the apps due to bank sanctions,” a PSB spokesperson said. He added that the installed applications of the bank on Apple smartphones continue to work in the standard mode, and full functionality is available to customers.

The PSB banking app is also not available on the Google Play Store. The rest of the PSB applications are still displayed in it.

Removing applications does not mean for customers to close access to the account. To conduct online transactions, you can use the official website of the credit institution.
