Alfa-Bank also stated that the imposed sanctions would not affect the bank's work. “Transfers in euros at Alfa-Bank were turned off last spring. You can pay with Visa, Mastercard and Mir cards in Russia without restrictions, transfers within the country are instant, the application and Alfa-online work quickly and reliably,” the bank noted.

Rosbank also noted in its commentary that the restrictions would not have a significant impact on its work. “The bank continues to work in a standard mode, to carry out all transactions in rubles both remotely and in a wide network of offices. All terms of service and tariffs for products are preserved, ”the message says.

The Russian Central Bank fell under the restrictions, Sberbank, VTB, Rosselkhozbank and other banks were disconnected from SWIFT. Tinkoff Bank, Alfa-Bank and Rosbank have not been subject to EU sanctions before.
