
A third of Russians believe that the long May weekend will lead to a loss of earnings. It is reported by RIA Novosti with reference to a study of the Webbankir online platform.
The negative financial effect of the weekend from May 1 to May 10 inclusive was reported by 33.8% of respondents. 56.6% said the extra non-working days would not affect their income in any way. Another 9.6% of respondents are sure that due to additional holidays they will be able to increase their earnings.
Most residents of the country reported that the ten-day vacation will not affect their plans in any way. Two-thirds of those surveyed said they would stay at home. 27.3% of Russians gathered outside the city. 5% of citizens intend to relax in resorts and excursions.

46% of respondents were in favor of making the long May weekend an annual event. However, more than 57% of respondents do not agree with such a tradition, if for this they have to sacrifice the New Year holidays.
