Close the sky: in Rostov approved the project for the development of the old airport

The Governor of the Rostov region Vasily Golubev signed a draft decision on the integrated development of the territory of the old airport in Rostov. The new microdistrict will be built before 2040, it will be allowed to build up 32-storey residential buildings. The corresponding document is published on the website of the regional government.

According to the project, it is planned to place about 1.5 million sq. m. of housing. The microdistrict will be considered as one of the highest in Rostov, the limiting parameters for residential development are up to 32 floors. At the same time, it is allowed to build up to 40% of the territory with houses. Another 20% of the residential area, according to the project, is planned to be planted.

At the same time, 60% of the territory of the old Rostov airport will be allocated for a public and business zone. It will house two libraries, a cultural center, 6 sports complexes, 2 churches, a philharmonic society and a puppet theater named after Bylkov.

The project implementation will be divided into 4 stages. The first stage with the development of 657 sq.m. housing is planned until 2028. During this period, 2 schools each and 6 kindergartens will appear in the microdistrict. The second stage will be completed by 2032, during which the district will grow another 538 thousand square meters. meters of housing, 2 more schools and 2 kindergartens will appear here. The third phase of construction will be completed in 2035. It provides for the construction of 260 thousand square meters. m. of housing, 1 school and 2 kindergartens. The last stage of the project will be implemented by 2040, during which the construction of residential buildings is not planned.

According to the project, one school will accommodate up to 1.5 thousand students, and one kindergarten - up to 250 children. In addition, it is planned to build two polyclinics for 350 and 600 visits per shift, a dentistry for 150 visits per shift, one ambulance substation and a separate children's clinic.

As RBC Rostov previously reported, DOM.RF plans to raise 8 billion rubles with the help of infrastructure bonds. for the construction of engineering, transport, social and city infrastructure on the site of the old airport.

Recall that plans for the development of the territory of the old airport were announced back in 2018. Later, a possible development project was demonstrated at various exhibitions.
