In RUSSIA, over the past week from November 13 to November 19, the covid incidence rate increased by 38.4%, an increase was recorded in 82 regions, reports the operational headquarters.

“The incidence rate of a new CORONAVIRUS infection over the past week per 100 thousand population was 41 and increased by 38.4% compared to the previous week,” the report says.

In total, 58,150 people fell ill with COVID during this period, and 93 of those previously ill died.

The number of hospitalizations over the past week reached 6,398 people, compared to the previous week, this figure increased by 16.9%. 39,731 people have recovered, which is 32.5% more than the previous week.

At the beginning of November, the HEAD of Rospotrebnadzor Anna Popova announced the deterioration of the epidemic situation with coronavirus infection in Russia. According to her, the disease mainly spreads in Moscow, the region and St. Petersburg , which accounts for 31% of all cases.

She also noted that ten cases of the new subvariant of the coronavirus “Pyrola” have been registered in Russia.
