The incidence of covid-19 among catering workers over the past month has increased by 32%, with a general downward trend in the incidence of the total population over the same period. Among this contingent, there is a low level of adherence to vaccination against COVID-19. This was reported by the press service of the regional Rospotrebnadzor.
From November 12 to 16, employees of the department checked compliance with anti-COVID measures in 41 catering establishments. Violations of restrictions were identified at 12 facilities. The most common are the lack of PPE, air disinfectants, cleaning schedules, and social distancing markings.
At the same time, according to Rospotrebnadzor, almost 60% of people with a new CORONAVIRUS infection in the Perm Territory associate their illness with visiting public places, including catering establishments.
“Thus, in the context of the continuing threat of the spread of COVID-19 for residents of the region, there are still high risks of infection when visiting catering establishments,” the press service of the department reports.
Earlier, RBC Perm reported that over the past day in the Perm region, coronavirus infection was detected in 619 people. The region is ranked 5th in terms of the daily increase in patients with covid among the constituent entities of the Russian Federation. Of the new patients, 74 are vaccinated. During this period, 21 people died from COVID-19. Over the entire period of the pandemic in the region, 7,258 patients died from coronavirus. The total number of infected people in the Perm region has reached 154,246.
