More than 5,000 cases of COVID detected in Perm region per day

Over the past day in the Perm region, CORONAVIRUS infection was detected in 5,005 people. Of these, 935 are children. Of the new patients, 258 are vaccinated. During this period , 20 people died from covid-19 . Over the entire period of the pandemic in the region, 7,916 patients died from coronavirus. The total number of infected people in the Perm region has reached 224,260.
To date, in the Perm Territory, 249 patients are in serious condition in hospitals repurposed for treatment of COVID-19, 106 are connected to ventilators. Among the severe patients, 16 were vaccinated. The share of available beds is 17.5%.
According to the Ministry of HEALTH of the Perm Territory, since the beginning of mass vaccination in the region, more than 1.38 million residents of the region have been vaccinated with the first component. Of these, 1.3 million have completed the course of immunization - they received the first and second components.
