Yakutsk Rospotrebnadzor announced the right to demand mandatory vaccination

Yakut employers on the government list have the right to require their employees to be vaccinated against the CORONAVIRUS or to suspend them from work until they are vaccinated. This is stated in the message of the republican department of Rospotrebnadzor.

Earlier, on May 25, the Yakut authorities, citing the decision of the chief sanitary DOCTOR of the republic, Margarita Ignatieva, reported that vaccination against covid-19 was becoming mandatory for some categories of workers. Later, the word “mandatory” was removed from the message on the website of the HEAD of the region.

“Vaccinations against a new coronavirus infection are carried out according to epidemic indications and become mandatory. Their absence entails the temporary suspension from work of certain professional groups specified in the List of Works in accordance with the Decree of the Government of the Russian Federation No. 825 of 07/15/1999. The head of the organization may remove such employees by order for the entire period of epidemiological trouble or until such vaccinations are received, ”the agency clarified.

Rospotrebnadzor noted that for all other legal entities and individuals (not included in the list), vaccination also becomes mandatory. However, the lack of vaccinations among employees due to the inaction of the employer will entail administrative liability.
