Warner Music suspends operations in Russia

Warner Music has suspended all of its Russian activities. This was reported by Variety magazine, citing a company statement.

"Warner Music Group is suspending operations in RUSSIA, including investment and project development, advertising and marketing activities, and the production of all physical products," the statement said.

The company promised "as the situation develops" to fulfill its obligations to artists and songwriters. Warner Music Group is one of the "Big Three Record Companies". 

The termination of work in Russia was previously announced by Sony Music. A similar decision was made by the record company Universal Music Group.
