An explosive device went off in the Serpukhov Convent

An explosion occurred in an Orthodox gymnasium at a convent in Serpukhov. According to investigators, an 18-year-old former student of the gymnasium at the entrance to the institution tried to commit suicide in a generally dangerous way. As a result, he received multiple injuries and was placed in intensive care. Students who were nearby were injured, one of them was hospitalized.

The HEAD of the Investigative Committee Alexander Bastrykin instructed to transfer the criminal case on the fact of the explosion in the gymnasium at the monastery in Serpukhov to the central office of the Investigative Committee.
