Universities online. How is the admission campaign going in the region?

On July 29, 2021, the acceptance of documents for state-funded places will end at all Russian universities and entrance exams will begin. How does the current campaign differ from last year, representatives of the region's leading universities told RBC Kaliningrad.

Documents without leaving home

In 2021, remote acceptance of documents became mandatory for all universities. You can apply to any university through the State Services service or on the website of a higher educational institution and then follow the selection process through your personal account. A personal visit to the selection committee with documents is also not prohibited, but you must first leave an application and designate a time so as not to provoke queues.

“Today, in many higher education institutions, online admission has become a trend, so we are no exception. Now you can ask us questions on all messengers and get an answer in real time. it works 24 hours 7 days a week. There are a lot of questions from foreign students, from neighboring countries: how to apply, what is needed, where to be accommodated, ”says Sergey Blagov, HEAD of the KSTU press service.

KSTU states that there are no big changes in the campaign, but the competition is growing every day. Budget places were determined at the level of last year - there are 1060 of them.
