HSE introduces restrictions for unvaccinated and non-ill students

Adult students of the Higher School of Economics (HSE) who have not been ill with covid-19 in the past six months and have not been vaccinated will be able to attend face-to-face classes only after a fresh PCR test. This is stated on the website of the capital's university.

“Students from the category “students at risk” will be allowed to attend such classes only with a negative result of a PCR test with a statute of limitations of no more than three calendar days,” the message says.

Most parents did not approve of admitting only vaccinated students to universities Society

The university allows the use of both Russian and foreign vaccines. Students with contraindications to vaccination may not be vaccinated.

Even if there is a negative PCR test result, students without immunity will be allowed to attend face-to-face lectures only in small groups of up to 15 people and only in disciplines that cannot be organized remotely (for example, classes with laboratory equipment or licensed software).
