For the first time since November, more than 400 cases of COVID-19 were detected in the region per day

In the Kaliningrad region over the past day, 401 cases of CORONAVIRUS infection have been detected, 48 people have recovered, six people have died. This is reported by the regional operational headquarters. The number of deaths, according to the regional Ministry of HEALTH, has risen to 1,383 since the start of the pandemic.

This level of infection in the region was recorded in November 2021. So, on November 1, 400 new cases were confirmed per day.

it is reported that in 368 out of 401 patients the disease proceeds in the form of SARS, in another six - in the form of pneumonia.

Among the sick children are 133: 15 preschoolers under 6 years old who do not attend kindergartens, 16 pupils attending preschool institutions; 93 pupils and 9 students under 18, as well as three students over 18.

Of the 268 sick adults: 8 healthcare workers; 21 employees of educational institutions; 12 employees of trade and catering enterprises; 18 employees of industrial enterprises; 12 employees of transport companies and drivers; 4 employees of food enterprises; two employees of housing and communal services enterprises; one hotel employee; 89 other employees; 32 pensioners; 63 unemployed.
