The World HEALTH Organization (WHO) has included a strain of CORONAVIRUS infection covid-19 , which was detected in Russia, on the monitoring list. Information about this is available on the website of the organization.
The list for monitoring (Alerts for Further Monitoring) includes strains when their mutations can presumably change the properties of the coronavirus and pose a potential threat of mass infection. If more information about a strain is obtained, it may be included in the list of strains of interest (VOI—Variants of Interest).

There are currently 12 coronavirus mutations on the monitoring list, one of which has been designated AT.1. According to the WHO, this strain was first detected in Russia in January of this year. He was added to the list on June 9.
So far, this strain does not have its own designation by the letter of the Greek alphabet. Such marking is received by those that are on the list of interest and the list of concern (VOC - Variants of Concern).
