Japanese authorities begin to name and shame violators of measures against COVID-19

The Japanese Ministry of HEALTH has publicly shamed people who do not comply with covid-19 quarantine measures by releasing for the first time the names of three people who violated the quarantine after returning from abroad, REUTERS reported.

According to current regulations in Japan, upon arrival from abroad, foreigners and citizens of the country must undergo a two-week quarantine, during which it is necessary to use the application to track their location.

In Tokyo, where the Olympic Games are held, a record incidence of CORONAVIRUS infection has been recorded since mid-July. So, on July 30, a record 4058 infections were detected.

Due to the worsening epidemic situation in Tokyo, the state of emergency was extended until August 31. The regime provides for a ban on the sale of ALCOHOL in catering establishments and a restriction on the admission of spectators to mass events.
